White Peacock butterfly (Anartia jatrophae) is a southern species --
primarily found in southern Florida and southern Texas, although it can occasionally venture further north. This butterfly, with a damaged wing, was in the Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge.

Absolutely wonderful photograph -- really well done. Is it HDR? The White Peacock is a nice find for south Texas.
Thanks! Yes, I used single-image HDR on the butterfly -- otherwise, the highlights were overexposed.
