Medical Update

The elevators worked flawlessly today, so I saw my doctor, had the staples removed, and now just have to wait about 4 more weeks until I can again put weight on my foot. I can remove the current dressing on Saturday, take showers then, and then put regular band-aids on the incisions until they are fully healed. I have to continue to wear the boot, but I'm getting used to that. Everything is going well, and after physical therapy I should have no residual difficulties from my ordeal. Yea!
