With so much time on my hands, I thought I'd learn some more techniques of digital photo restoration. It's something I played with a bit when I scanned some of my own family's photos, but those are all in storage and not available to me. Mary gave me a scan her at age 4, probably taken at Lake Michigan at a 4th of July celebration. She is the one with the "me" arrow, and the other girl is her cousin. Here is the original (as usual, you can click for a larger image):

And here are the results -- one restored to black and white, and one colorized:

Mary has provided a few more images for me to work on. I'll post more as I work on them.
