Hi. Barbara here, just randomly reading blogs this evening and stumbled upon your. I'm interested in your photo restoration. Had a program on my old PC that I could do a few things, but I've switched to a MAC and am looking for a program to do some tricky stuff to old pictures. Could you share the name of the program you use? The pics look great. Thanks. Hope your ankle is healing fast and well.
Hi, Barbara. I use Photoshop -- there are no automatic restoration routines in it (except some dust and scratch removal tools, but they blur too much for my taste), so I have to decide what type of fix each problem in the photo needs.
Thanks for the kind words, both about the restorations and the ankle healing! ZoAnn
Zo, I like the background in the original better, because there is a change from light to dark as you go from right to left. I don't know if that was intentional or a result of the uneven aging of the picture.
